ACFIT – NASM WFS (Women’s Fitness Specialist) Certification Validity & Renewal Guidelines

  • NASM WFS is a specialization credential rather than a core certification (unlike CPT).
  • While the specialization itself does not “expire,” its value is tied to its use for 2-year recertification cycles.
  • To maintain its relevance, the CEUs earned from WFS must be applied toward your NASM certification renewal every 2 years.

2. Course Access & Exam

  • Course Access Period: Typically, 1 year from the activation date to complete the WFS coursework and any associated assessments.
  • Exam/Assessment: Completion of required WFS learning modules and quizzes within that access period earns 1.5 CEUs, which count toward recertification.

3. Continuing Education & Renewal Use

  • WFS awards 1.5 NASM-approved CEUs, which can be applied toward recertifying other NASM credentials, such as CPT.
  • These CEUs do not need direct renewal—instead, they support the 2-year recertification requirement of NASM core certifications.

. Support Timelines

  • Email/WhatsApp Response: Within 24 working hours.
  • Access Activation: NASM portal access is activated within 24–72 hours post-registration.
